Sabah East Coast may consist of Sandakan Division which included Sandakan and Sukau; Tawau Division which included Lahad Datu, Semporna and Tawau itself. 

Traveler may either arrival at Sandakan and overland to Sukau and Kinabatangan before continue to Tabin Wildlife near Lahad Datu or arrival at Tawau from Kota Kinabalu / Kuala Lumpur / Singapore before explore Tabin and Meliau Basin. Once you arrive in Tawau, if you wish to explore further, you may go to Semporna by land transfer which may take another 1.30 hours. From Semporna, you will continue on the same day by boat (check the boat schedules) to your accommodation on Mabul Island by another 45-60 minutes. In Mabul, Sipadan and Kapalai, you may enjoy your snorkeling and diving activities and certified as one of best diving site in the world! From Tawau also, you may take a ferry to Tarakan in Kalimantan Utara to explore Derawan diving areas.
