Asia's first via Ferrata (or " iron road" in Italian). Rising from 3200 meter, the via ferrata is located near the summit of Mount Kinabalu, enables people of all ages to enjoy climbing Mt Kinabalu's rock faces, taking them on alternative routes to view the mountain from a totally different angle.

DAY 01 (Packed Lunch / Set Dinner)

TIMPOHON GATE

Pick up from city hotel in Kota Kinabalu and overland drive to Kinabalu Park. Arrive at the Park and then, proceed to Park Headquarters for registration and meet up with your Mountain Guide at the reception. After briefing and preparation, commence your journey to Timpohon Gate or Mesilau Gate and then, start your trek to Laban Rata approximately 4 - 5 hours depending on individual's fitness level. Packed lunch around noon and then you will make the final trek to Laban Rata Resthouse (3353 meters). Check in to your dormitory room and rest of the afternoon at leisure to explore the surrounding or simply soak in the scenery spread beneath you. Dinner will be served at Laban Rata Resthouse. Overnight at Mountain Resthouse (dormitory type with bunk bed) – NON HEATED

DAY 02 ( B / High Tea))

SUMMIT TO TIMPOHON GATE

Wake up as early as 0200 hours for another 3 hours track. There are ladders, hand railings and ropes to help you over the steeper parts. You reach the final destination at Low's Peak, the Summit of Borneo at 4 095.2 meter to catch the magnificent sunrise. Congratulations! Watching sunrise at the top has been described by travelers everywhere as a life-enriching experience, by 0700 hours, meet Mountain Torq trainer at Sayat Sayat Hut for Walk the Torq - Asia's first via Ferrata. By 0900 hours, arrival and check out of Pendant Hut (Mt Guide to hand over guest to Mt Torq Trainers. He has to wait for all of you to decent via ferrata before going to Pendant Hut). Retrace touted back to Laban Rata Resthouse and onward to Timpohon Gate where transport will take you to the Park HQ and collect your certificate of achievement. After Lunch, we return to Kota Kinabalu. Drop off city area Hotel or Airport.
